Last night we left Lucy and she was still in the recovery room. Thank God for that because this morning we got a phone call about her and Gary rushed to see her. It turned out that she was bleeding and she had some blood clots in her stomach area. The doctor went through one of the holes in her stomach and down her mouth to fix the blood while she was asleep. Becuase of this she lost two pints of blood but is doing great now. Finally she went to the ICU room around 1 or 2pm and we got to see her. The nurses won't alow her to drink yet and she is very thirsty!!! But hopefully she will drink tonight. My mom also said that her HCT and HGB were half of what they were supposed to be. She started to get palpatations from the panic attack but they gave her some stuff for it. This hospital is great and they are taking very good care of her. She is in good condition and hopefully tomorrow she can drink something. Tomorrow is another visit so I'll write again then. Thanks for everyone's support. You are all such nice and caring people! :) I'll send Lucy your love.

Lucyann~~Your day is here. Here's to a speedy healthy recovery. I always say: remember to walk, walk, walk, and drink, drink, drink...and don't forget to use your spirometer...no matter how much you hate it. Happy New Year! Prayers==

From the angels Gary and Theresa- Today Jan 3rd at 8am is the beginning of Lucy's new life. Five hours later, still in recovery, and doing well. Waiting for a bed in ICU because the rooms are all full!! Some minor N-G tube bleeding but everything else looks good so far. She's still extremely drugged and couldn't talk much but the doctor says she is doing well and her liver was swollen. Biopsy was taken and we will keep you updated on her condition. :)
