Hi all! It's me here. I made it to the other side! I am very sore but nothing unmanageable. I expect d/c tomorrow, passed leak test today, am sipping slowly on clear liquids. More soon-thank you all for your prayers kind words and support! Joy

Joy, by the time you read this, you'll be officially a genuine postop. I read your profile and how wonderful the way it worked out for you at your former job. If you are going to get laid off, thats the way to do it! I am also having surgery today. I have a 1pm time slot, so I don't have to be there till 11am. I hope everything goes well.

Hi Joy, Just thought you would like to know I had lap RNY done 12/3/01 from Dr. Miles and did great, was out of the hospital the next day and haven't had any problems. I would do it agin if I had to. I have never wished I didn't have it done. All I can say to you is whenever you feel like it get up and walk it helps you recover faster. I wish you all the best and I feel you have the best taking care of you, Dr. Miles is the greatest.
