You go girl! I just had surgery on 20 May and there was no way I could answer the phone the 1st day! Congratulations! Hope your recovery will be quick and uneventful.

Hi Everybody!! Well, today was Kara surgery and she made it through with flying colors!!! I just called her room, expecting to talk to her husband or mother, and guess who answered the phone??? Kara!! She said that everything went great and she is relaxing now with her new best-friend, morphine! She's a trip! Anyways, she has her upper GI in the morning, then she can start to eat a little bit. What a trooper! She wanted me to make sure that I posted an update so that all her well wishes would know how she was doing. I will be going to visit her tomorrow and I will post more later! c-ya :-)

Hi Kara, I just wanted to send you good luck wishes for your upcoming surgery. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a safe surgery and a quick and easy recovery. I am 9 wks post-op and I am so happy I made this decision to make a real difference in my life and my health and soon, you will be saying the same thing. Hiya Sista! I can't believe that your date has finally arrived!! We have been talking about doing this for so long and now it will be a reality! You know that i suppot you 1000000% and if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask me!! Next year we will have to take that shopping trip to Victoria's Secret and go to the beach!!! I can't wait! But, most of all, you will be healthy and happy. That, of course, is the most important thing of all! I love ya and you are always in my thoughts!!! Bunches of love, your ANGEL o;-)

Kara, Congratulations on your date! You will do great! I had my surgery on May 19th and Dr. Singh and his team were fantastic. (At one point, my back ached so bad, I told Dr. Singh, and he rubbed my back! Talk about the personal touch!) Here's to moving forward with our lives :-)

Kara WOW! your big day is almost here.... I know you are excited and a bit nervous about now.... I sure remember those feelings..... don't worry they are normal feelings about this stage of the journey....
