Surg time

Got a call yesterday and found out the time as of right now for my surg will be 7:30. They want me to be there two hours prior so 5:30 makes for a early morning.

Well today was the day I got to schedule for my lap band surg!!! I will be having it done a week from tomorrow October14th. They are going to call regarding the time. I can't tell you all the emotions I am going through. All and all things moved so fast I hope my recoverey goes just as smooth.I guess I better get out there and buy all the things on my list.

Approval for Surg!!!!

Today was a Happy day for me!! Found out that my surg has been approved by my insurance!! They even were ready to get me in for surg on Monday October 5th!!! Yeah!!!! We will see about the date.

Went back to see Dr. Monash yesterday and he said we should hear something from Tricare with in the next two weeks! I am so excited and just can't seem to get the surg off my mind!

Pass on the psych eval!!!

Well I guess everything was a go for my eval. He didn't make me take the written test he talked about over the phone. His main concerns were that I would know where to go to get support and know the statistics of WLS failures and so forth. I guess he will be sending my Dr a letter this week. Now it is just getting Tricare to approve it.

I just hate to wait for anything. I go for my psych apt tomorrow. We will see how that goes. I am nervous that the Psychologist is not going to be pro wls. What if I say the wrong thing? I also rescheduled my weigh in apt for next Tues. That is all that is new with me!

1st apt w/ Dr. Monash

Well today was the day I was supposed to eat eat and eat, didn't work out as well as I hoped. At my weigh in I was a 40.7 BMI. I was happy but with Tricare they like to see my weight as 200 percent of my ideal weight. After talking around I found I am 4 lbs from that. That is not bad I guess I could eat a few more unhealthy things.

Got apt for Psych!

Spoke with psychologist today and made an apt. Thursday is my evaluation with Dr. Monash. I feel like showing up with ankle weights on just to make my BMI of 40. Not fair that I am so close and just not there.

Well today I went to my first seminar and really liked the Doctor. I was refereed to Dr Schwartz by my PCM but now I think I am going to see Dr. Monash. He really took his time to explain everything with us and I really enjoyed talking with his office manager. I will be calling to schedule a evaluation with Dr. Monash! I just pray I will be approved by Tricare. My BMI is a 38 but I will see if maybe they figured it out wrong at my PCM.
