Congratulations on going to surgery soon and on being normal. That tying up loose ends feeling is totally normal - go with it! I'll say a little prayer for you as you journey to the "losing side". Take good care of yourself and best wishes for a speedy recovery. P.S. I love OPRAH normally but she can go jump in the lake over the diet vs. surgery thing. Sometimes I wish celebrities would stay off certain subjects as they don't realize what effect they have on others.

Shalonda WOW!your day is almost here! I know you are going through a whirlwind of emotions about now as the day draws nearer...... I can still remember them and I am here to tell you they are NORMAL.... so hang in there soon you will be on the losing side enjoying the positives of WLS. Dear Shalonda, I am Linda. I live in Ohio and had open Rny surgery in Feb. so I know the process and the fears and apprehensions that go with it. I have lost 164 lbs in about 6 1/2 months and have never been happier in my life. I enjoy living so much more since I can get around and do more.
