Hello Shannon - wooooohoooooo girlfriend, your day is FINALLY here!!! Oh my gawd, it seemed like it was taking FOREVER to get here and then WHAM, it's HERE! How excited you must be? lol, can you tell, I'm excited TOO? Just remember your overall attitude plays a large role in your recovery, keep it POSITIVE and ask lots and lots of questions. I look forward to reading the "updates" to your profile as your journey progresses. Dont forget to walk, walk, WALK right after surgery, no matter how tired you are......AND get your protein and water in daily, lots and lots of both, your health depends on it. Know that you are not alone, there are MANY of us that will have you in our thoughts and prayers on your very special day. <i> "The key to happiness is dreams, the key to success is making those dreams come true"</i> .....Hugs and love : )

Best Wishes, part I: It's coming up soon. Excited yet? I am; I remember the three weeks leading up to my surgery. I couldn't WAIT, and at the same time I was a little nervous. Trust me, it will be over before you know it. That first year is a rollercoaster ride. Some words of wisdom: DON'T compare yourself to anyone!!! You will lose at your own rate - just do the things you are supposed to do, and try to limit those things you're not supposed to do. I won't say DON'T do this, or DON'T do that - I did! ;-) Just remember your vitamins, remember your exercise, remember your water, remember your protein! If you need anything, I'm here for you, baby! Love ya! Your angel ~*~
