I know you will feel very disappointed. Too bad they couldn't do both surgeries at the same time. I know you will be back on your feet soon. After the pain subsides you can re-focus on the WLS. good luck on your journey, anne

So sorry your surgery plans have had to be "re-arranged" a bit, but what a blessing your surgeon is for not taking chances with your precious life! You will get another chance to come to the "other side" when the time is right. Let God take the reigns and you just do the deep breathing! Lisa

Patricia, I'm so sorry your surgery did not go as planned. I am glad, however, that they were able to remove your infected gallbladder and that you will be able to be rescheduled soon! Stay strong! Love and hugs!

Hi Sis, please keep your chin up. This was definately a blessing! I am sad for you, but I thank God that it was found when it was. Everything will work out, this is just a minor setback and in no time you'll be counting down the hours again! I love you so much!

Patricia, chin up girl. Your doctor is a wonderful person, looking out for your best interest. 4 - 6 weeks will fly by and then you will be on the losing side. Speedy Recovery for your gallbladder

Patricia, I am praying for a speedy recovery. Thank the Lord they found the bad gall bladder before anything went wrong, we all want you to be happy and healthy after your WLS. Hang in there... they say I won't be having my surgery until at least 6 months from now. So I have 1 more miserable sweaty summer untill I join the losing side! God bless you and we all love you.

Patricia~I'm sad, but happy. I'm sad for you because your surgery had to be cancelled today. I'm happy though since they found that nasty gallbladder and got it out of the way. None of us would want another AMOS brother or sister to get really sick, so this was probably a blessing. Keep us posted.

Patricia, How disappointing this has to be for you. I know it's hard, but it really is better to make sure the gall bladder infection is gone before they do anything else to your insides. Please take good care of yourself so you can heal up quickly from this and then get your WLS re-scheduled. Best of luck to you.

Dear Patricia, Thank goodness they found your gallbladder problem. I had one that was infected, when they make you sick you think you are having a heart attack. Don't be discouraged about postponing your WLS your day will come and there will be one less thing to worry about. The bad gallbladder will be gone :O) I pray for your quick recovery and your upcoming WLS surgery to be successful and no complications. Good luck!!! and get well soon. Debbie H in AL

Patricia... as hard it seems right now you need to remember that God is still in control and there is a reason why this happened when it did... so hang in there and trust Him and His plan for you... Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have you for you declares the Lord, plans to give you hope and a future... and never to harm you...
