I am so upset tonight. I got a letter from the hospital stating I will need to come up with 1600.00 before they will do the surgery. I knew they needed 80% of patient responsiblity but geez I have a 1000.00 max out of pocket with my policy. WHat are they thinking! As if dealing with everything else isn't hard enough they go and send me that. I was so upset at first but then I realize, just like everything else with this procedure, I will need to be patient until I get it straightend out. I know they have their job to do but don't they realize how very very important this surgery is to us??? Can't they get their facts straight before they throw us into a frenzy!!!!! Geez..............oh Well there is always monday. I will be sure to get this figured out in a fast hurry!!! Thanks for lett ing me vent!!! It is truely great to be able to come here and say my peice with those who undrerstand. Have a nice evening!!

I recieved my approval letter in the mail on friday the 25th. It only took 5 days. The Dr. faxed it to BC/BS on monday. I can't wait to find out my surgery date! I am so ready to start my new life!( Kinda scared too!!!)
