My first impression of Dr. Clements was that he was very young and full of energy. He was very straight forward and matter of fact about the WLS. I respect the bluntness he has. He is very sweet and a gentle man, he really seems to care about your well being. Before, During & After weight loss. He did stress aftercare and diet & exercise. His office staff is outstanding every one was very nice and really treated you with respect. I would give Dr. Clements a 10 overall because I think he is great and so far I am happy with my impression of him.

Dr. Clements is very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of this nurse's questions! His nurse (who has had the surgery herself!) and the insurance worker are very kind and supportive, but the woman that answers the phone/questions at his office can be brusque and rude.
My hospital experience with Dr. Clements and his staff was FANTASTIC! He rounded 3 times to see me in the day and a half I was there! He took the time to answer all of my questions and provided me with valuable information to use at home. I go back in 2 weeks to see him.

My first impression of Dr. Clements was this man is to young to be a surgeon. But over time , he really changed my mind. The office staff is great, very helpful. I have nothing negative to say about Dr, Clements.
I would reccommend to any one. Dr. Clements is really scrict about following your aftercare diet.

dr clements made it very clear that this surgery is for improving one's health. on my first visit, i had a favorable impression of dr clements, and i continue to. his office is very, very busy, and could use more staff. the insurance person changed not long after my first visit. the new person is dewanna. she has been very helpful. his nurse, teresa, who has had the surgery herself several years ago, has also been very helpful. dr. clements has stated that aftercare is most important. he wants a person to know what is what, and if that person is not willing to do what is needed, that they don't need to go ahead with the surgery. he has explained the risks of this surgery to me several times, due to underlying health problems i have. some of which are diabetes, high bp, high cholesterol, coronary artery disease, along with 2 stents in the lad artery. i have just turned 50, and have had these problems for several years. i have been most impressed with dr clements. he makes it clear that this is life-altering surgery.

First impression: Very sincere and that this is a permanent surgury, A life time change, not just cosmetic, yes we will lose the weight, but it's up to us to continue with the program.
The Office staff: Difficult to work with at first, they have to have there ducks all in a row, and we want it to go faster...
Dr. Clements Resident came in to see me late that evening after I got a room to see if everything was going ok....He saw me again the next morning and came in again with Dr. Clements on rounds at 11:30am
I'm pleased with the way everything has gone, no complaints on my end....

My first impression of Dr Clements was that he cared that I was overweight. He cared that I might die, he cared about every question I asked and never made me feel like I asked a stupid question. My impression of him remains, he cares. His staff is WONDERFUL! Dewanna and Teresa are the best!
The one thing that you need to know about Dr. Clements, is that he is up front, if you do not do as you are told, you will gain the weight back, you could die and there could be serious complications. He emphasizes aftercare alot. You must be diligent. He has a wonderful aftercare program. He addressed the pros and the cons of the surgery and after the surgery possible complications.I would rate Dr.Clements and his staff as AWESOME!
