Hello ((((Sweetie))))), I am soooo sorry I haven't written before now!!....YOu were so kind to me during my and before my surgery.....I know all will be well with you....Maybe you just needed a little extra attention is all......Remember Isaiah 45: 2-3...It was truely a God send message to me......((((HUGS)))) to you and your wonderful family....your hubby and children sound soooo wonderful....and I already know you are the best!!! Hi Karen/Alan, I hope things are looking up for u now. I had ds back in oct. and my intestines just would not cooperate. My dr. told me the first time he went in they were stiff like they were angry. Two days later I was back in or because they opened and i was hemmorraging and deficating in my bed. Other things happened in between then I woke up at hope at 2am in excrusiating pains that I was screaming at the top of my lungs, woke my dh up and told him to take me to the emergency room, my dr happened to be in the hosp and stuck and ng tube down my throat and all the bile came out because now I had a blockage, he told me some times they undo themsleves and sometimes not, so of course he waited I think two weeks and that was operation #3. So after all this is said, I know what u r going through. Are they giving u cat scans, as well as the xrays? They use to give me ct's every few days to see whats going on in there. Karen I don't know if you know it or not but I called the Hospital today (06/17) and talked to your wonderful hubby Alan. He sounds like such a wonderful sweet and caring person. I think you got a good one girl! He said you were feeling naseaus(sp?) and didn't care to talk but that is ok and I understand. I just read the message board and saw where things are worse than they were earlier. I read this and I started to cry for you sweet, sweet girl that you are. Please hang on and don't give up! I know that the good Lord will help the Dr. find the knowledge to heal you really fast. I will try to call you again tomorrow to see if you are ok. ^j^ Angel Reporting ^j^ I talked with Karen's wonderful husband, Alan this evening, and he said Karen is having some complications...The Dr. thinks she may have may have a kink in her intestine or bowel obstruction. Alan said there is a strong possibility of additional surgery. She has been in some abdominal discomfort, but since they put the draining tube in her abdomen to drain the bio, she has been feeling much better. She has had x-rays and additional x-rays will be taken sometime tonight. The nurse's have her up walking approx. every 3 hours. Although Alan said he seen much concern on her Dr's face, he is hopeful and prayerful that everything will be ok in the end. Please, please say a prayer for my dear friend Karen and send her wishes for a safe, and speedy recovery. I will update tomorrow evening when I learn more of her condition. Hi Friends!...Angel reporting- Just got off the phone with Karen's daughter Ashley. Karen was just getting up to walk for the third time today, and has gotten her IV taken out. Still has the nose tube, but is doing fine. She gets to eat her ice chips, but nothing else at this point. Ashley has been there helping her mom~~she is the real angel! ~~Heidi
