Chris, so glad to hear that you're doing so much better. It must have been scary going through all you went through. You are lucky to have such support at home through your wife. As I wait for my July 9th date, I am reassured through stories like yours that I am doing the right thing, as well as facing the reality that it may not be a piece of cake! Good luck to you in your journey and keep us up to date on your progress. {{{HUGS}}}

It has been a while since I have posted. I just wanted to let everyone know that I am recovering very well from all of my complications. All 3 abdominal drains have been removed as of 2 weeks ago and I am officially 10 weeks out and have lost 87 pounds. I feel great and have so much more energy. My feet and back no longer hurt and I am back to work full time. I want to thank all of you who signed my page and sent thier prayers my way. I needed every one of them. I especially want to thank my lovely wife Patti for all her hard work and love while taking care of me during those trying first months. If I had it to do all over again I would. My life is so much better now and I look forward to losing the next 87. thanks again to all of you It is truly a wonderful thing to have a suuport group like this. good Luck to all who are having surgery you are all in my prayers. Chris

YEAH!!! Chris is finally back home from the hospital after the third time since his surgery March 5th. It seems the possible lung blood clot didn't exist!!! The tech at the local hospital read the lung scan incorrectly. He had his ct scan and sonogram today, and they were able to remove one of the three drains. He is feeling pretty good, and pretty darn happy about his 41 pound weight lose since surgery!!! He also graduated to pureed foods, and had a little of my Smart Ones Macaroni and Cheese. He gets full alot faster on pureed foods than he did on the full liquids. Things are really looking up! Patti (Mrs. Chris)
