Grace-Marie, Please do not give up hope. I had to fight to get approved for my surgery, too. Everyone, Grace is my husband's cousin and I can vouch that they are one onery family, so you all know that she won't give up easy. Lets all keep her in our prayers. She deserves a chance to recover from this deadly disease called obesity. Love ya girl Lisa

I have possibly good news I recieved a call from my insurance Company RE-the CPAP machine for my sleep apnea, which at first they denied me because stupid sleep center released wrong report, well they are seriously considering an approval for a CPAP machine. The said "be Patient they are working on it and they have contacted my pulmonologist for more info" so that's a good sign. I hope they do approve it but more importantly I hope they approve my surgery because I am tired of being in pain when I walk and I am tired of being sick and not being able to do things like normal people

<font color="red"><B>My initial consult was 12 days ago and I am starting to get antsy, I wish I knew something, has the surgeon sent in the paper work yet, have the ins co gotten it yet and are they going to approve or deny, I am praying to my savior the Lord Jesus to please let me get approval, and for everything to go ok during and after surgery, I want to go to heaven someday but not for a long time. it's been over 4 weeks since the medical supply house re-sent the proper forms for the CPAP machine and I still haven't heard on that and that is getting ridicilous. some times I feel like Insurance companies don't realize we are people I wonder how they would like it if they needed a CPAP machine and some one was taking their sweet time processing things

Well I finelly got the diet history done and the letter for insurance, the diet history is 2 pages long and the letter for insurance is 9 pages long. With everything I put down it is going to be extremely hard for the insurance to deny me plus I do have medical records to back up every word I say. Since it is only 2 more days to initial consult I really pushed myself to get it done and now the butterflies are starting in my tummy.
