My first call to Dr. Parvez office was very helpful. The receptionist was very kind and informative. I was able to attend a conference the same week.

I found Dr. Parvez to be very knowledgeable and he answered all my questions in full. It was nice that he took the time to answer all my questions and was not in a rush to leave as many doctors seem to be.

He emphasized this is a life change and that I must be totally committed for life.

DR PARVEZ WAS SO NICE HE LISTENED TO ALL MY QUESTIONS. AND ANSWERED THEM COMPLETELY.THE OFFICE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY VERY BUSY...I HAVE NOT BEEN CONTACTED BY HIS OFFICE I WISH I WOULD HAVE HEARD SOMETHING. DR PARVEZ WAS AT MY BEDSIDE IN THE HOSPITAL EVERY DAY HE DID NOT SEND SOMEONE ELSE HE CAME HIMSELF I LIKED THAT IT MADE ME FEEL SECURE. I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL FOR 5 DAYS AFTER SURGERY AND MY FAMILY WAS FAR AWAY SO I WAS ALONE IT WAS NICE TO KNOW HE WAS THERE FOR ME.

When I first met Dr. Parvez, he seemed to be a very knowledgeable and straight forward surgeon. I'll admit I was a little intimidated by him at first. After having my first appointment with him I no longer felt that way. He is a very skilled and very caring person. He treats the whole patient, making sure that they are in the best health they can be before surgery. He is very thorough and takes every precaution to make sure that there are no complications. He really cares about the health of his patients. With him, it's not all about the money...the patients health matters more. Dr. Parvez makes sure that the patient understands what they are going to undergo, he answers all questions and doesn't sugar coat anything. He tells it like it is. He empasizes aftercare and that this surgery is just a tool that if used properly will give the results desired by the patient. The staff members in his office are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are really organized and are really on top of everything having to do with insurance. Overall, I hold Dr Parvez in very high regard.

Both were great

General impression was that he was straightforward, comforting but not condescending. He answered my questions both efficiently but with depth. The appointment was very short - I was given a full packet of info to take home, read and sign as well as a booklet about the specific procedure he was going to do. He more often performs the open procedure - but stated he was very comfortable doing the lap procedure to assure my quick retun to work.

My first impression of him was warm...he was warm but he was also in a hurry...buzzing around....After my surgery He was very nice and hugged me...His staff was very patient I could call and ask questions and not feel bad about it....The thing i liked least was he was in a hurry most of the time...but i can understand....I rate him a 10...His bedside manner was good...so was everything

I liked Dr. Parvez very much.He was very forward and sympathetic, but he will not let you just make excuses for yourself.

I researched Dr. Parvez for about two maonths before I decided to go to his seminar and make a consult appt. Everything I read about him on this site was true. He is a very caring sweet man. He really tells it like it is. He starts off telling you all the negative things about surgery. He makes it clear that the surgery is a tool that aids you in loosing weight but it is 100% your responsibility to do exactly as he says in order to stay healthy. Dr. Parvez does everything he can to make sure you understand the importance of after care. He is very strict and will not operate on everyone. He will only operate on those he feels can handle the surgery safely and will follow his instructions without question.
His office staff is very helpful. They are great about getting you in for appts. They are friendly and very supportive. After my initial consultation I feel as if I am making the right decision in choosing Dr. Parvez. He has an extremely low complication rate and is an ezperienced surgeon. He expects you to ask as many questions as you like. So far Dr. Parvez has been wonderful.
