Jim - As your 'Angel' I would like to tell you how proud of you I am and that I pray for an uneventful surgery. I am also hoping that you keep your belly button, as this concerns you. And if this concerns you, then it concerns me. I would also like to tell you as a best friend that I love you dearly and will be there for you at every step of this. You are a wonderful motivational moderator at your weekly support group meetings, and have helped 'cross over' many fellow patients. I have learned a great deal from you, surgery related and life related. Therefore, let me also take this opportunity to thank you for helping me regain my life. I have cried with you and laughed with you. And I will cry with you and laugh with you for a long time. So, my dear 'soul friend', my very best wishes for you as you embark on this last step in your journey on December 18th. I will post for everyone to know that you completed this process. All my love and friendship - Your Angel -

James, you're going to do GREAT on this next step of your journey, I just know it! I have my first surgery (Open RNY) on the same date as your second surgery (Dec. 18th). Just think of this--we're giving ourselves the best possible Christmas gift we could ever receive. God bless you, and keep us posted. You are a wonderful inspiration to us all.
