Dr.Parvez was a wonderful surgeon. He was honest and straight forward about the lifestyle changes that come with the territory of the ryn surgery. He is very supportive and has a strict diet and exercise program to follow. He has a wonderful beside manner and is always able to answer questions. He has follow up appointments after one week, one month and six months and one year. He also requires that you have a primary doctor that will see you monthly for lab work and to track your weight loss. He encourages you to see a nutrionist also. I feel that Dr. Parvez has given me a new lease on life. and for that i will be forever greatful. I to this day recommend him to anyone who would like to have this surgery.

1.I was very comfortable with my doctor when i first meet him he was very knowledgable and conforting seemed to understand where i was in life with my weight problem .
2.I never had seacond guessed my doctor i put my life in his hands and he gave me a new life

I've only seen him once for my consultation, it was very brief. He seemed very nice and caring though. I will say more after my next appointment...
Well, it's been a month since I had my surgery, and I am still very happy with Dr. Parvez. I would recommend him to anyone who is willing to follow his instructions, cause if you are not willing, he will not take you as a patient!

My first impression was based on what I saw first which is his office. It seemed low budget. There chairs with arms were old and useless,(can you sit in a chair with arms!!) The newer folding chairs didn't have any arms at least, but they were folding chairs! The coffee table was from the eighties and just made it hard to get around the very samll room, and all the magazines were for men. I read an article in the Fresno newspaper that quoted Dr. Parvez as saying that bariatric surgery is the biggest money maker surgeons can perform these days. Well Dr. Parvez needs to invest a bit in his patients comfort.
When I fianally met the Dr. he was very personable and tried to make me feel comfortable (I figured maybe he is not one of the decorater types). He answered all my questions and gave my an info packet to take home and study and then to bring back at my next appt. He was impressed with how much i already knew I told it it was because of this web site!
My second appt. was great there was no waiting time and it was very quick( wish I could say that about my 2 1/2 hour drive to get there)I really do Like Dr. Parvez! He is a sweet man.

He seems very concerned about his patients and is a very nice man.
He's a very busy man and sometimes seems rushed but I can see the reason why he wants to check on all of his patients and make sure they are ok.
His office staff are very helpful and curteous to you they are very outgoing.
I think he's just a good doctor that gets to the point.
He know has seminar's about the surgery so that he can answer all questions at one time and make sure people know what's in store.
Afercare is very important to him you must make your follow up visits it's important.
Any questions you may have are important ones and if you are haveing a problem he tries to help you solve it.
The doctor addresses everything you need to know about the risk of surgery and he removes your gallbladder when he operates.
I would rate him as a 10.
Both surgical competence and bedside manner or very good.
